Newcomers
In August we offered a home to a total of 53 children (24 girls, 29 boys). Two of them are newcomers: Asiimwe Steven and Mable Gift Biira. Asiimwe Steven was left at Fort Portal Regional Hospital by unknown persons. He is in good health. The mother of Mable Gift Biira is in poor mental health and therefore also left her child behind. Donations in the past weeks
In the past few weeks, we have received numerous donations. Our Norwegian partners Children needs Parents have donated money for the renovation of the kitchen with the open fireplace. Health condition of the children
Fortunately, we only had a few visits to the hospital in July. Only Ronald Tayebwa, a baby, had to spend three days in hospital because of respiratory infections. Singura Godwin is referred to a bigger hospital in Kampala for tonsil surgery. Planning for this has begun.
