Governance & Management
- The trustees appoint aboard of Governors which oversees the activities of the home. The board meets four times in a year. They receive reports from management, appoint auditors and also report to the trustees .
- The personnel are headed by the matron who acts as manager. We currently have 18 members of staff whom the Matron is supervising
- Mothers take care of the children and babies, they babysit them, feed them and a nurse them. Each mother is entrusted with a given number of children whom she’s mandated to take care of.
- The other workers are the gatekeeper, the compound man, one laundry mother, the cook, the accounts clerk, the driver, and 3 farm workers.
- Sometimes we also receive volunteers from abroad, e.g. Germany and Spain.
