Inauguration of the new sign on the road and Day of Open Door

As part of the Open Day, Bishop Reuben Kisembo inaugurated and blessed our new sign on the street today. The sign was sponsored by Partnerschaft Gesunde Welt e.V. and had become necessary due to the new construction of the main road. Purchase of water heaters for each bathroomNone of our bathrooms at Toro Babies Home have warm or hot water. When the bathrooms were renovated, there was simply not enough money for this. The water for bathing the children is heated in the kitchen using gas or firewood. The laundry is washed by the children's carers with cold water and soap.
