Thanks to the additional donation from Spanish volunteers, Gift and Maria received additional physiotherapy sessions in the baby home. The progress is remarkable. Gift's body is generally less tense and she can now hold a cup and drink herself. Maria can even walk on objects! Dear friends of Toro Babies Home, We are very sad to announce that Racheal passed away last night. After developing a high fever and having seizures, she was taken to Maranatha Children's Hospital, examined and put on oxygen. She vomited several times that day. Joshua was only 1 month old
On February 2nd, 2022, little Joshua was taken to the Toro Babies Home by an officer and a relative. Joshua was born on January 3rd, 2022. His 16-year-old mother was anemic and sadly died shortly after he was born. The father is only 17 years old.
