“We find purpose in supporting others, we wanted to do something to support the community and our love for babies led us to Toro Babies Home”, some of the reasons that inspired members of United Christian Community and students of Uganda Technical College, Kicwamba to donate to TBH for Easter.
The students who were impressed by Toro Babies Home’s tremendous work in ensuring that no children grow up on streets made a generous donation of various items including eggs, soap, fruits, clothes, toilet rolls, sugar, rice, diapers, wheat flour, pens and an envelope of cash among others.
Ruth Tumusiime, TBH Warden applauded the students for their generous donation and encouraged them to grow and live with their big hearts. She led them on a tour where they interacted and played with the babies while they enjoyed their stay at the home.
