Last month, we took Mathew, a four-month-old baby, into our care. He had been abandoned by his mother and left with his alcoholic grandmother. After a social services worker from Bunangabu referred the case to us, we are fully committed to caring for and protecting the child. Mathew is severely malnourished and weak, but we are doing our best to provide him with a loving environment and the care he needs.
