Several physiotherapy sessions have recently been conducted at Toro Babies Home and Kyaninga. The more advanced therapeutic sessions took place in Kyaninga, while simpler sessions that did not require complex equipment were carried out at Toro Babies Home. The caregivers at the home were trained thoroughly to support the children effectively and ensure their continued growth.
These sessions have greatly benefited the children. For example, Maria can now walk up and down independently. She has become accustomed to her surroundings and has grown very strong. Similarly, Gift has shown significant improvement: she is strong, can perform exercises with ease, feed herself, and her communication skills have improved.
On the other hand, Mugisa has been enrolled in physiotherapy due to his difficulties in managing daily life situations. He exhibits violent behavior, loves noise, breaks things, and prefers to isolate himself. The doctors will investigate the exact cause of his behavior and take appropriate action to address it.
