MTN Uganda led by CEO Sylvia Wairimu Mulinge alongside her leadership team and Women@Work group visited Toro Babies Home on Friday 20th June, 2025 as part of YelloCare.
The delegation donated UGX 20,000,000/= (Twenty Million Shillings) by cheque to support medical needs and essentials of the home and other items in kind like diapers, soap, cooking oil, powdered milk, petroleum jelly, baby wipes and toothpaste among others
MTN’s “Y’ello Care” is an annual employee volunteer program where MTN staff dedicate time and expertise to support social initiatives within communities.
Sylvia who commended her team for the YelloCare program promised that the visit was only the beginning of MTN’s support to Toro Babies Home.

The visit was graced by Owek. Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, The Prime Minister of Tooro Kingdom who invited MTN Uganda to support TBH under their YelloCare activities in Fort Portal and Hon. Alex Ruhunda, Member of Parliament, Fort Portal.
Mr. Rusoke George William who represented TBH Board Chairperson thanked MTN for their remarkable gesture to Toro Babies Home.
