Today we at Toro Babies Home received a large bag of maize meal donated by Marina Meger, which will contribute to the well-being of the children at Toro Babies Home. The maize was harvested on Marina’s land in Burungu near Fort Portal.
The story behind this donation is as inspiring as it is touching. Chairman Adolf Musinguzi was responsible for growing the maize on Marina Meger’s land. Under his expert guidance and with great dedication, the maize was harvested and then taken to a mill in Fort Portal to be processed into flour. The 200 kilograms of maize that were brought to the mill ultimately resulted in 102 kilograms of high-quality maize flour.
This maize flour will undoubtedly provide a valuable source of nutrition for the children at the Toro Babies Home.
Marina Meger’s generous gesture not only provided material help, but also sent a message of love and support. Her willingness to work for the welfare of others is a good example of how a single act can make a big difference.
The Toro Babies Home and the children who are cared for there are deeply grateful for the support of people like Marina Meger and Adolf Musinguzi.
