Since the weekend, our van, which we use to take the children of Toro Babies Home to school, to transport the vegetables and fruits from our two farms to the city, to do the daily shopping for the whole home and to take our seriously ill children to the hospital in Kampala, has been on strike.
The gears of the automatic transmission can no longer be changed. The old gearbox cannot be repaired and we have to order a new, used gearbox in Kampala.
We are in urgent need of a functioning minibus, but cannot afford the expected repair costs of about 2,500,000 UGX / 625 € on our own.
We are very, very grateful if you help us so that we can be mobile again for the children.
