Toro Babies Home will hold the annual Day of Open Door 2025 on Thursday 11th December, 2025 at the home in Fort Portal with a series of activities lined up for all to participate in all day.
The general public in and around Tooro and Rwenzori region are invited to participate in activities of TBH Day of Open Door with the aim of creating awareness about the home’s needs and a platform through which members of the general public interact with the home’s administration to understand the holistic function of TBH.
During this time, members of the public are received into the home to inquire about the home, interact with children and mothers and also support the home in various ways including financial and material support.
This year’s edition will feature a brass band pass through the heart of Fort Portal City and an open day session at the home throughout the day from 10:00am (EAT) till sundown. Other activities include guided tours of the home, a mini exhibition where merchandise will be on sale to support the home and child sponsorship among others.
