We are delighted to announce a 10,000litre water tank donation received from National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Fort Portal. The tank and its accessories were delivered at TBH on Friday May 1st, 2025 including pipes and five bags of cement for its installation.
NSSF Fort Portal will later take on the tank’s installation before officially handing it over to the home for use.
Toro Babies Home has been in need of a larger water reservoir for sometime now due to increased demand for water use. When the TBH administration sent out a message, NSSF Fort Portal heard and courteously delivered. The water tank will be used to harvest rain water to supplement National Water supply to ensure constant water supply and consequently cut down on the home’s water bills.
We are thankful to NSSF Fort Portal for this act of kindness and support towards TBH’s sustainability.
More details about this donation will be revealed at the completion of installation and handover of the operational tank to TBH by NSSF Fort Portal soon.
