THE ARRIVAL OF new BEDS

There has been the long-lasting plan to replace the children's beds. They were used for a long time and were in terrible condition not to mention that the safety could not be totally ensured. With some remaining donations and additional financial support from Marina Meger, it was finally the time to purchase the new beds and mattresses. It was decided to get wooden beds built and the result was great. Not only do they look nice but they are also very sturdy that provide the kids a more comfortable sleeping space.
The Christmas Party that was almost cancelled

Toro Babies Home always tried to cheer up the children and staff with a small Christmas party. It has been an ongoing tradition every your, so we were more than sad to hear that they considered to cancel the festivity.
In order to prevent this from happening, together with our donors we quickly put together a Christmas celebration. We bought food and also Christmas gift which also covered some necessities for the children for example shoes. In fact, we had to draw the kids feet shape, so we could get the correct size. The children rather would have kept the goats as their friends than having to slaughter them for food 🙂 Even though the party was done at short notice, it was definitely a huge success and everyone had a good time.
