Prime Commercial Services, a local financial institution in Fort Portal on Tuesday was among the first responders to our call for support to the general public for the urgent need of stocking formula milk for infants at TBH.

For over a month, Toro Babies Home has struggled to stock formula milk for infants due to skyrocketing prices of formula milk around the country that has overly affected the home’s milk budget and stock putting the lives of babies below six months at a risk of malnutrition and infections with possible regretable consequences. It was on this account that we made an urgent call to the public to help and support us restock formula milk.
Bright Wamara, one of the Directors of Prime Commercial Services at the handover of the donation at TBH said that when they heard the emergency call, they swung in to support the urgent need to bring smiles to the babies’ and staff’s faces.
Prime Commercial Services donated 24tins of Cow and Gate formula milk accompanied by diapers, maize flour, detergents, liquid soap and sugar.
Ruth Tumusiime, TBH’s Warden expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Prime Commercial Services for their fast response and throughtfulness towards the emergency call.
