This month, we welcomed two children in need of urgent care and protection. Mugisa Posiano, a one-year-old, had been subjected to abuse by his parents, leading to severe malnutrition. He has since been admitted to the nutritional department at Buhinga for necessary treatment.
The second child, Atuhaire Miracle, was born prematurely at seven months, losing her 13-year-old mother during childbirth. Now, at eight months, Atuhaire Miracle is showing positive signs of health and development.
The intake of these two children not only signifies our commitment to providing a secure haven for vulnerable youngsters but also marks the beginning of their recovery and positive growth. We express gratitude for the support that enables us to offer these children a new outlook and hope for the future.
