In September, we took in a new child, Penlope. Penlope had been living with her mother in Katoojo prison since birth, and her mother has now been sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment. The girl is currently in good health, and we are committed to providing her with the care and support she needs as she adjusts to this significant change in her life.
This month, we visited several children under foster care. In Mukomo, we checked in on Blessing, and in Kijura Town Council, we visited Britain. We are pleased to see that both children are doing well and gradually adapting to their new environments.
