When I arrived at the Toro Babies Home in the late morning on Tuesday, 03.10.2023, the matron Monica and our kindergarten teacher Irene were distributing a large local donation of clothes to the six children’s homes. In order to get local donations as well, an announcement was made on the local radio, among other things. The clothing donations are first checked, unusable items are sorted out and then initially stored in the clothing warehouse. Once a month, the clothes are then distributed to the six children’s homes.
We are also always very grateful when visitors from Europe and America bring us donations of goods. They are desperately needed.
