This is Patience Kala born with only 1690 gram in March 2021 and she is our youngest child at the moment. Kala is a premature baby of a mentally sick mother, who stayed with her the first week but could not care for Patience. We can only estimate that she was born in the seventh to eighth month when they brought her here. Her health status was critical – she was very small and had infections in her eyes and navel.
It is hard for our mothers to care for premature babies in comparison to other children because they have special needs and they have to keep them warm. After three month she had a very strong pneumonia and she needed oxygen in the hospital. She stayed there for a few days with our relief mother so the other mothers could not have their day-off in the week.
Fortunately, she improved after that and is becoming stronger day by day in general.
