The Cologne-based foundation Wipe a Tear e.V. has once again done its bit for a good cause. To mark Mother’s Day, the association, led by Elisabeth Rugaju, organised a special event in Odonien, an artists’ colony in Cologne, Germany. In perfect weather, Elisabeth and her team of volunteers prepared an Ugandan lunch that attracted numerous visitors.
The event was a complete success. Thanks to the numerous visitors and supporters. The organisation was able to raise €319 in donations for the Toro Babies Home in Uganda, a project under the umbrella of Partnerschaft Gesunde Welt – Klinikverbund Südwest e.V. Elisabeth Rugaju and her team have thus made a valuable contribution to supporting the baby home, which looks after orphaned and needy infants.
The ‘Mothers’ and children of the Toro Babies Home send their best wishes to everyone who enjoyed the meal and thank Elisabeth and her special team from the bottom of their hearts for their great support. Through such selfless commitment, the Wipe a Tear organisation shows how much can be achieved with dedication and charity.
