Christmas started early for Toro Babies Home with a courtesy visit of Tooro Basketball Academy (TBA) on the very first day of December 2025 that culminated into an eventful day. A team of coaches, friends, well-wishers and young basketball players who hold the future of basketball in the region interacted with the babies with games, dances and shared gifts among the babies who too had a good time with the visitors.
David Consio, TBA Director who led the contingent commended the work TBH is doing to care for less privileged infants who through the home rest assured of their safety, care and general wellbeing making them enjoy their early childhood without worry.
David highlighted that the academy focuses on providing basketball programs for underprivileged youth, with activities like a “Ball 4 Kids” program which nurtures basketball talent and community outreach which cares and shares resources with people in need especially children which attracted them to support Toro Babies Home.

The team supported TBH with a Christmas hamper including diapers, sugar, maize flour, soap, millet flour, wipes, cooking oil, toilet rolls and more.
Everyone at TBH is immensely proud of TBA for the love and care, kicking off our festive season in high spirits. We believe one day a child or children from TBH will make it to the TBA Academy.
